How is ARMD treated?

It depends on the severity and location of the ARMD. Regardless of the treatment option that may be recommended, at this time, there is no treatment that is known to reverse damage from ARMD, or cure it. And unfortunately the disease and loss of vision may still continue to progress despite treatment. The goal of the treatment is to keep the vision stable.
